1. Mumbai – In Mumbai, you must visit Gateway of India and nearby to it is Taj Hotel. Elephanta Caves is amazing, don’t miss it to visit but remember it will take your full day. Bandra Bandstand, Marine Drive, Chowpatty beach, Juhu beach are worth visiting if you are a beach lover. You can visit Film City to see the shooting of movies and daily soaps. Mumbai has got a wonderful night life so you can visit lounges or clubs in the late evening. Do not miss to visit Mr. Amitabh’s and Mr. Shahrukh’s House. Also, visit Sidhivinayak Temple, a very famous Temple in Mumbai.
2. Lonavla – Beautiful hill station near Mumbai. Enjoy Waterfall here and do visit Karle Caves and Tiger Point.
3. Pune – The most beautiful place in Maharashtra is Pune, clean and green city with wide roads. You can visit Aga Khan Palace and Shaniwar Wada (shown in movie Bajirao Mastani).
4. Shirdi – Famous Sai Baba’s temple Shirdi is situated in Maharashtra. People from different parts of the country visit the temple because of it’s religious importance. One must visit the Temple.
5. Aurangabad – Here you can visit the famous Ellora Caves, Ajanta Caves, Bibi ka Maqbara and Panchakki.
6. Nashik – Here you can visit Nasik Caves, Gangapur Dam and various Famous Temples.
7. Nanded – Here you must visit if you are religious. This is the place where Famous Gurudwara Sahib named Shri Hazur Sahib is situated (Gurudwara Sahib of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Tenth Guru of Sikhs). There are many nearby Gurudwaras also to visit besides the Sachkhand Shri Hazur Sahib. Gurudwara Sahib Guru Nanak Jhira Sahib is situated in Bidar, Karnataka (Gurudwara Sahib of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, First Guru of Sikhs). Bidar is around 160 Km from Nanded. People do visit Bidar when they visit Nanded.
